Training Information
Training is held every Tuesday 7-9pm at Henry Mellish School and Sports College. It costs £2.50. Players are of a varying standard from club to county level. Due to growing numbers, we are now only looking for new players with club/county/university BUSA experience. We are also trialling a new rota system so that we only have 3 teams training each week to ensure training is productive, enjoyable and not too cramped to cause injury!! Directions To Henry Mellish
Hi all! It's all exciting change this year, new kit and now a new venue. We will definately be training at Henry Mellish tomorrow. As far as directions go, it isn't far from Djanogly...
There are some directions below and the links go to Multi map and the school website. From Djanogly (on your left) Keep going along that road (by B and Q and clothing Direkt). When you get to the junction with the ring road, go staright over. At the mini roundabout go stariaght over. this is now Vernon Road. keep going straight. Basford crossings will be on your left- keep going. Eventually the road turns into Highbury Road. The school is on this road on your right. To get to the sports hall, go past the school and take the first right onto Picadilly and first right again onto Kemmel Road. Go up here and park in the sports centre car park.
If you're coming down the ring road, head as though your going towards arnold/city hospital onto Valley Raod. at the cross roads where mcdonalds is turn left at the lights, At the mini roundabout go straight on- this will take you onto Vernon Road. Then follow the directions as above.
From Arnold: best bet is to go directly down arnold road. Before you reach Basford Crossings turn right and then right at the lights, this takes you onto Vernon Road. Follow the directions as above.
Sherwood/Mapperley. Best route here is proabably to get onto Hucknall Road so city hospital is on your right. Go by the hospital and turn left at the lights onto Arnold road. Go directly down Arnold Road. Before you reach Basford Crossings turn right and then right at the lights, this takes you onto Vernon Road. Follow the directions as above. Once you know where it is you'll probably find your quickest route!
